While the incidence of defects in new watches is extremely low, there may be occasions in which warranty work becomes necessary. In all cases any warranty work will be handled by
Shel-El Diamonds to insure quick and timely turn around time. In addition, Shel-El Diamonds keeps detailed sales records so that we may better answer your questions regarding past purchases (such as warranty work or insurance appraisals in the event of loss).
In our experience, most warranty work requires simple adjustments or battery replacement. However in the event of a return for repairs of watches under warranty, Shel-El Diamonds reserves the right to replace or repair the watch at our discretion. Water damage or damage due to neglect or misuse is not covered by any manufacturer or by Shel-El Diamonds. The warranty does not include routine maintenance, like cleaning and battery replacement. Shel-El Diamonds will not be responsible for any shipping charges (unless otherwise arranged), or damage due to neglect or misuse of the watch.
All watches sold by Shel-El Diamonds are guaranteed to be 100% genuine and are guaranteed to be free from defects for a period of at least 2 year or longer warranty depending on the watch.
While Shel-El Diamonds makes every attempt to make sure that the incidence of defects in our vintage and preowned watches are low (by servicing and overhauling every preowned watch we sell), there may be occasions in which warranty work becomes necessary. In such cases, the watch will need to be returned to Shel-El Diamonds for service. Any work performed on your watch outside of Shel-El Diamonds, will be at the expense of you, the buyer. In addition, unauthorized service will result in voiding the warranty of the watch. At our discretion we might authorize some miner work but a purchase order must be obtained from Shel-El Diamonds. In our experience, most warranty work requires simple only adjustments. However, in the event of a return for repairs of watches under warranty, My Shel-El Diamonds reserves the right to repair the watch, as we deem necessary. Water damage or damage due to neglect or misuse is not covered by Shel-El Diamonds. Remember, Shel-El Diamonds keeps detailed sales records so that we may better serve you in case of questions regarding your past purchases (such as warranty work or insurance appraisals in the event of loss).
Shel-El Diamonds will service every brand name watch sold on our website for a period of 2 years after purchase. Watches that have symptoms of abnormally gaining time, losing time, or not keeping proper time will be serviced under our warranty program.
What's not covered: The watch case, bracelet, straps, crown/stem, crystal/glass, finishes, damage caused by excessive wear-and-tear and/or physical abuse and damage resulting from wear under conditions exceeding the watch manufacturer's water resistance limits. Consequential and incidental damages are not covered under this warranty or any implied warranties. Some exceptions may apply if the watch is in need of service due to a manufacturer defect.
Please be advised damage that can occur during the service of a third party will null and void the warranty provided.
All jewelry sold by Shel-El Diamonds is guaranteed to be 100% genuine and in new condition, in the event a jewelry item is pre-owned it will be stated in the items description.
